San Francisco Private Commission

I was so excited to work on this mural as soon as the client, Tara, sent me a picture of her cheerful backyard. Her space is such a beautiful reprieve in a busy city with gorgeous sunlight, lush trees, and well-designed furniture.

The client was a dream to work with and she ran with the idea of illustrating San Francisco native plants such as yarrow, fennel, snowberries, and flowering currant. Back when I was in architecture school, I worked on a project studying Mission Creek and the native flora so it was nice to be able to pull up that old research and put it into this new creative project.
